In June of 2004 Dr. Richard Michael Gramly along with several volunteer amateur archeologist were back exploring at

Ka-Do-Ha Indian Village in Murfreesboro Arkansas in the continuing search for knowledge of the Caddo Indians, and

 we thought you might like to know how thing went, here is some information and pictures to up-date you on the 2004 dig.

 

 

  

                     First day while getting the dig started Dell just happened to find a very nice point while walking over to help get things started

June 19-30 2005;  Continued work at this important Caddoan town - well known for its standing earthen monuments (mounds)

 Field work will focus on obtaining charcoal for radiocarbon dating. The $40.00 fee will be applied directly to laboratory work. There

are camp sites at the Crater of Diamonds State Park (870-285-3113). There are two Motels in town, they are the Queen of Diamonds

(870-285-3105) and the American Heritage (870-285-2131). Please contact Dr Gramly or us with your plans so that we can
